Oliewenhuis Art Gallery
The Oliewenhuis Art Gallery is situated in Bloemfontein in the Free State, South Africa. It has a historic collection of South African Art. It is approximately 13 years old and has grown into a well known gallery with a considerable collection of art by well known artists. The collection has also grown through donations and bequests. This gallery is a beautiful building with superb gardens which are open for relaxing walks and tranquil picnics. The interior is warm and inviting with upmarket finishes. The Oliewenhuis Gallery offer guided tours where you will get to learn of the history and about its art collection.

Monday to Friday: 8:00 to 17:00
Saturdays: 10:00 to 17:00
Sundays and Public Holidays: 13:00 to 17:00
Closed on Good Friday and Christmas Day
The restaurant at Oliewenhuis is called The Terrace and it overlooks the museums gardens and outdoor artwork. There is both indoor seating and an outdoor terrace where light meals, delicacies and speciality cakes are served. The Terrace also caters for functions on the Museum’s premises.
