Gauritz River Bridge
This historic bridge was completed in 1978 in the hot but beautiful Western Cape. The Gauritz River Bridge is famous for bungi jumping and bridge swinging. The bridge is approximately 35km west of the beautiful town of Mossel Bay in the Western Cape. The bridge is 65m high and is where bungi jumping was first started in South Africa.
The minimum age limit for the jump is 14 years old and the minimum weight requirement is 40kgs.
