The Gateway Theatre of Entertainment in Umhlanga Ridge seriously knows how to keep its visitors on the edge of their seats, which is exactly what happens at the Nissan 4x4 Track. With some of the most challenging terrain imaginable, 4x4 enthusiasts are in store for an unforgettable experience. Use of the track is only for licensed drivers, and the well thought out layout of the route is not worth missing out on, taking drivers through hidden canyons, through river obstacles, over Surprise ridge and much more.

Nissan currently host an average total of two hundred track drives each month, with a growing number of corporate companies making use of this experience as part of a team-building exercise. Drivers are supplied with vehicles from Nissan, as well as a guide, to assist in getting them through the challenging ten minute off road track, which takes participants through water traps, sand pits and around a hazardous roll over corner, which sees the vehicles going over a forty degree incline.

The track provides drivers with an exhilarating drive, and excellent memories which will last for ever. The Nissan 4x4 track is also available for corporate functions and team building events. Nissan will be holding 4x4 track days for their customers, which are planned for the second Sunday in each month, and the track will be open to various other makes of vehicles as well. They plan to invite between twenty and thirty customers to attend each 4x4 day, where lectures on the use of 4x4's, accessories, winding, CPS training, safety, the environment as well as camping and 4x4 trips will be covered.
