The Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, commonly referred to as the V&A Waterfront, which is set in the heart of Cape Town's bustling harbour is South Africa's most visited destination boasting over 20 million visitors a year. The harbour was commissioned to be built in Cape Town by Prince Alfred (the second son of Queen Victoria.) making it not only important to the economy but also of great historical importance to South Africa.
