Khomas
Khomas is one of 13 regions in Namibia and it also has within it, the capital city of Namibia, Windhoek.

Activities:
Khomas is about 24km from Windhoek. There is a well established game park named after Daan Viljoen. In the game park you can find a variety of game such as Gemsbok, Kudu, mountain Zebra, Hartebeest, Eland, Springbok, Baboons and Ostrich. In Khomas there is also a dam where you can find Tilapia, Black Bass and Barbel

Climate:
The summer months in the Khomas region are very hot and the winter months between June and August are pleasantly mild with temperatures between 6deg celsius and 21deg celsius. The temperature usually drops in the evening.
