Park Rynie is a small village at the junction of the N2 highway and the R612 to Ixopo. The village is a quiet resort with fine beaches split up with attractive rocks. There is excellent scuba diving to be found off the coast here and good fishing from the rocks. Visitors can enjoy horse rides along the beach. The Vernon Crookes Nature Reserve is located about 25 km inland off the R612.
