Hazelwood is a beautiful suburb in Pretoria which is close to all amenities which makes it a convenient holiday makers.
Attractions:
The Union Building is one of the most popular historical buildings in Pretoria. The Union Building built from sandstone has two wings which are known to represent the unity of the two cultures achieved since the Anglo Boer War, it is not open to the public but is admired by the public from the beautiful surrounding gardens. Another interesting place to visit is the victorian style Melrose House Museum, built in 1886, where the Peace Treaty of Vereeniging was signed which ended the war. There is the Pioneer Museum in Silverton which is open daily for public tours where you will get to enjoy demonstrations on how the grind wheat, bake bread, roast coffee, make candles and even try your hand at milking.
