Westdene is a beautiful and popular suburb in Johannesburg and is less than 5 minutes away from the well known Campus Square shopping mall.

Zoo Lake is a wonderful day out for the whole family, you can relax with a picnic on the park that surrounds the central pond or you can enjoy a relaxing row on the pond on the row boats. There is a tennis court, a swimming pool and even a restaurant for those who prefer to sit and enjoy a lunch time snack. Museum Africa is full of interesting historical facts and exhibits of South Africa from Bushman Rock Paintings, Rock Art and many other interesting displays. The Museum Africa is open Tuesdays to Sundays from 9:00am to 17:00. Another enjoyable and interesting day out for the whole family is the Johannesburg Zoo where you will enjoy guided tours and be able to watch various animals being fed from seals, chimps, rhino, polar bears and even gorillas. The zoo is open daily from 8:00am to 17:00.
