The Impangele guesthouse is situated along Korsman's Bird Sanctuary in Benoni, a bird watchers paradise close to Johannesburg International airport. There are approximately 200 species of birds in the Sanctuary and guests can observe Flamingo, Glossy Ibis, Cormorant, Egret and Heron, amongst many others. The area surrounding the Sanctuary is very quiet and provides an ideal setting for guests to take a relaxing walk and to enjoy the scenery and birdlife. For your safety, the guesthouse is located within a secure area, with controlled (guarded) access. Secure parking is available. For your convenience, free high speed wireless internet access as well as a laptop plus printer are available for your use.

For the golfing enthusiast, Impangele is a short distance away from the "Benoni Lake Club", an 18-hole golf course, rated as one of the Top 100 golf courses in South Africa. In close proximity of the guesthouse, there are a number of shopping malls and cinemas, several casinos, and a variety of good restaurants (South African, Indian, Portuguese, Italian etc.).

After a full day of working or sightseeing, you and your friends are invited to relax in our bar area and maybe enjoy watching a splendid red African sunset. Relax in our outside Jacuzzi, take a swim in the pool (during Summer) or play a game of tennis on our tennis court. Please feel free to also use the BBQ facility at the house.

Impangele's comfortable bedrooms offer our guests queen-size beds, complete with an en-suite bathroom, with both bath/shower. Built-in wardrobes ensure plenty of cupboard space and all rooms are fully carpeted and feature original artworks by African artists.

A full English or Continental breakfast is served in either the dining room or on the outside patio. Please inform Impangele of any special dietary requirements (diet, vegetarian etc.) prior to your arrival, if possible. Dinner provided on prior request.

Rhodesian Ridgebacks
Dogs are important residents at Impangele's. Now, we have five Rhodesian Ridgebacks (Attila (the Sire), Pemba (the bitch) as well as their "sons" Csaba, Geza and their "daughter" Chipo) and they can sometimes be a bit of a hand-full! Rhodesian Ridgebacks are originally from Southern Africa and were bred to track game (often lions, at least in the old days). They are very faithful and loyal companions and like our guests, they are not aggressive animals. But if you are not too keen on big dogs, that's fine, just let us know before you arrive and we will keep them away from you.
