Highcliffe House in Gordon Heights, Gordon's Bay is a beautiful, spacious and inviting home which offers panoramic views across False Bay and the Helderberg, while being only a few minutes from excellent sandy beaches, including one of South Africa's top ten. Whale and dolphin watching is a feature of this beautiful area. Gordon's Bay is also central to all attractions in the Western Cape being only 40 minutes from Cape Town and 20 minutes from the International Airport. The winelands of Stellenbosch, Paarl and Franschhoek are just a few kilometres away, and there are five superb championship golf courses close by. There is also a selection of hiking trails for the walking enthusiast, and for those who want to shop, Somerset Mall is just 10 minutes away.
Our three luxurious, self-contained apartments have their own entrances and off-road parking. They also have access to the braai-room, swimming pool, and sun-filled patio where you can laze on comfortable loungers, while soaking up the sun by the pool.
The Merlot suite is a spacious one-bedroom apartment, with a large fully equipped kitchen / dining area, fireplace in the comfortable lounge and a built-in braai on the balcony - a cool place to site with a chilled glass of wine, enjoying the breathtaking sea and mountain views. The large bedroom has a queensize bed, fitted wardrobes and a full en-suite bathroom with separate shower.
The Riesling Suite is a large two-bedroom apartment, with fabulous sea views across False Bay. The huge main bedroom has an en-suite shower room, kingsize bed, fitted wardrobe, and a comfortable seating area - the perfect place to enjoy the wonderful sunsets over the sea. The spacious second bedroom has two three-quarter beds, fitted wardrobe and a full en-suite bathroom with separate shower. The Pinotage Suite is a large one-bedroom apartment with a kingsize bed in the en-suite bedroom, and a sleeper couch in the large lounge. The spacious bathroom has a 'slipper bath' and a large separate shower. The modern kitchen is fully fitted and
equipped, has granite tops and a bar counter, plus there is a separate dining area. The comfortable lounge has a fireplace, and opens onto a private patio with braai facilities, adjacent to the swimming pool.
All suites are luxuriously furnished to a high standard, with satellite television, DVD, Hi-Fi, lockable safes, ceiling fans and heaters. There are hair dryers in all the bedrooms and the suites are serviced Monday to Saturday. Telephone, fax and e-mail facilities are available. Airport transfers and car hire can be arranged.

Gordon's Bay is set in the foothills of the Hottentot Holland Mountains and has a quaint village atmosphere. With its many beachside restaurants and bars, two harbours, sailing, fishing and other water sports, Gordon's Bay is the ideal holiday retreat, and Highcliffe House is your perfect holiday haven.
Directions: From Cape Town Int. Airport, take the N2 north towards Somerset West. Continue on the N2 past Somerset Mall and the Strand to just before Sir Lowry's Pass. Turn right - signposted Gordon's Bay (R44) Kleinmond. Follow the road into Gordon's Bay, and just before the T-junction at the end, turn left into Boundary Road. Proceed up the hill to the top, and Highcliffe House is on the corner of Boundary and Bulbine Road, on the left.
Highcliffe House has been given SA Grading Council 4-Star rating and AA Superior rating. We regret that we cannot take children or pets, and we run a non-smoking establishment.
