Perched up on the hillock above the shoreline in sleepy
Umzumbe, the cottage offers a magnificent sea view and delights the senses with the invigorating sounds of the waves crashing below, served together with the intoxicating fragrance of the fresh and alive Indian Ocean.
The first rate cottage offers one double bedroom, lounge with DStv, dining room and well equipped crisp kitchen including washing machine. A personal safe is fixed in the bedroom. The braai area is outside the bedroom and lounge on the patio.
The cottage is the ideal retreat for honeymooners, lovers, the adventurous or simply the laid back.
The cottage is a few minutes walk from the real cool and secluded beach. Tan on the beach, fish off the rocks, snorkel in the gullies and catch a crayfish. Party on the beach, collect shells on the beach or take the dog for a walk on the beach. Or take a walk down to the swimming beach where the lifeguards are and do a spot of body or board surfing.
Deep sea leisure trips, deep sea fishing, scuba diving, extreme shark diving and whale watching boats are all available close by and are easily arranged. Why not take a charter flip from
Margate airport and skim across the waves to thrill and delight you?
Inland nature is superb at
Oribi Gorge and Croc World is not far away. There are several world class golf courses along the South Coast and the area has become famous for the whacking of the white ball.
In the evening crack a castle and have a braai or visit one of the restaurants around and about.
Pets are welcome except for ferocious breeds of dogs such as Rotweilers, Pit Bulls and Boerbulls. Serviced by arrangement if required. Beach towels are not provided.
