Goose Bay Canyon Game Ranch
Situated on the Free State side of the Vaal River, 12 kilometres from Barrage, less than 100km from Johannesburg.

Accommodation:
Self catering rondavel, log cabins and camping sites for caravans and tents.

Activities:
There are many activities to choose from, including:

• Rowing and river rafting.
• Booze / sunset cruises (minimum of twelve persons required, booked and paid ten days in advance).
• Angling / Fly fishing.
• Trails for hiking and mountain bikes.
• Birding - 105 species identified.

Facilities:

• The rondavel and cabins are fully equipped with kitchen utensils, crockery, cutlery and bedding.
• Guests must bring own linen and towels, food and drinks.
• Distance to nearest shops is 16km.

Rondavel

• Private with own braai and access to river. (5 metres from water's edge).
• Sleeps 5 in two bedrooms (Main with double bed and loft with three single beds).
• Bathroom with toilet, shower and basin.
• Small lounge plus open plan dinette/kitchen.

Log Cabins

• Five cabins built in semi-circle between 5 and 9 metres from water's edge.
• Three fireplaces with grills.
• Each cabin sleeps four and consists of single room with couch (converts to double bed) and two bunks.
• Kitchenette and dinette also in room.
• Bathroom with shower basin and toilet on balcony.
• Two "Loafa"-chairs as well as plastic table with four chairs per unit for outdoor relaxation.

Camping Sites

• Situated right on the river's edge.
• Shaded, level sites for five caravans or eight tents with two fire places and 15A electricity.
• Fully tiled ablutions with four toilets, four basins and two showers. Wash up outside.
