| 1. See check-in / check-out times above. 2. Maximum guests allowed: Entire house** – Maximum 9 guests maximum. **No unregistered guests are allowed on the property. 3. During your stay: - You will be staying on a regenerative farm. Please be mindful of the environment: - We use a French-drain system. No foreign material or sanitary products can be flushed down the toilet, it will block the drains. A R1500 drain cleaning fee will be for the guests account if any guest do not respect this important request! - Turn off any appliances, electronics, air conditioning and heaters if not in use. - Make sure to close the windows, lock the door, and turn the lights, air conditioning, and any electronics off before going out. - We have farm animals, some of them make noises. - You are welcome to walk in the mountain BUT TAKE CARE and educate all guests to stay away from areas that can be dangerous i.e. slippery rocks, unstable grounds, and water pools. - Trash – this is a regenerative farm setup and we try to give back to Mother Nature as much as possible. Please sort your trash and place your trash in the correct bins. Blue – recycle, Green – compost friendly, and Black – everything else. Bins are collected on Mondays. - With the Power outages affecting our Country, we have a battery to run small appliances and portable lights for each bedroom. - No pets allowed. - No jumping on beds (kids and adults). - Please don’t eat or drink in the bedrooms. - Clean up spills and crumbs They attract critters quickly. - Please refrain from rearranging the furniture and take care when using amenities. You will be liable to pay for damages. - Make sure to close the windows, lock the door, and turn the lights, air conditioning, and any electronics off before going out. - No parties or events are allowed without prior permission. - We only allow moderate music and it must be completely off after 9pm. you can continue to play music inside the house only in moderation until 10pm. Please respect the noise curfew of 10pm – 9am. - NO FIREWORKS ALLOWED IN THE PROPERTY NO MATTER THE OCCASION – THIS IS OUR MUNICIPALITY BY-LAWS. - NO SMOKING OF any kind is allowed inside or outside the House, including vaping, hubbly bubbly, tabaco or herbal cigarettes, and/or e-cigarettes. If you really cannot live without this habit, use the designated smoking area in the garden AND PLEASE place your trash in the provided ashtray. IF ANY DAMAGES TO THE PROPERT OR FURNITURE, INCLUDING CLEANING TO REMOVE THE CIGARETTE SMELL YOU WILL BE 100% LIABLE FOR ALL THE COSTS. - You and your guests will be sharing the farm with our beautiful family that choose to live in peace and harmony. Please be respectful to all around and be mindful of your tone, noise factor and the language style you choose to use while staying here. - No fighting or violence of any kind will be tolerated! You will be asked to vacate immediately with no REFUND option. - Our Property have full time stay-in staff members. In working hours (Mon-Sat 7h30-18h00) they might be working in the garden and/ or farm. They will not invade your privacy, unless there is a request or complaint that needs addressing. - Illegal substances are not allowed on the premises, or I will have to ask you to vacate with no REFUND option. - IF YOU OR YOUR GUEST DO DAMAGES TO THE PROPERTY OR FURNITURE, INCLUDING CLEANING OF STAINS, REMOVING OF CIGARETTE SMELL YOU WILL BE 100% LIABLE FOR ALL THE COSTS. 4. General: - Alert us immediately if anything breaks. We may not be able to fix it for the next guest if you don’t tell us right away. - All units are rented on a self-catering basis and therefor does not include daily top up’s on the basic’s i.e. coffee, tea, sugar, cleaning products, toilette paper, etc. However a welcome hamper is given upon arrival which will include the basics that will sort you out for the first day or two. - The once off cleaning fee is per stay NOT per day. We only clean after your check-out. Daily cleaning service is available @ R250 per day (Monday to Saturday) and R 350 per day (Sunday and public holidays), by prior arrangement should you wish for cleaning during your stay. We will provide you with clean linen and towels upon request. - Basic groceries can be brought (for guests account) by prior arrangement. - We offer assistance with decor, catering, cakes, all depends on your budget and must be arranged well in advance with the host. - Ice, wood, frozen meals, and few basic goods are available by prior arrangement. 5. Before you depart: - Please clean the kitchen after using it and empty the trash at the end of your stay. Non-compliance will result in an additional R450 clean-up fee. - Load dishes in the dishwasher. We will start it when we arrive to clean. - Make sure to close the windows, lock the door, and turn the lights, air conditioning, and any electronics off before you leave. - Arrange with the host around what time you are planning to leave and a staff member or the host will collect the keys from you on departure time. We understand and highly appreciate that, you chose our property because it looks beautiful and welcoming, Please help us to maintain that idea, by treating this like your own home, and making sure that another guest will also find the house fresh, clean, comfortable and welcoming. VIOLATION OF OUR HOUSE RULES WILL BE REPORTED BACK TO THE BOOKING PLATFORM, AND YOUR STAY WILL BE CANCELLED WITH NO REFUND. AND ALL GUEST BE REMOVED FROM THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY. - Additional services: We would like you to have a fabulous time with us and therefore we offer a few extra services: 6.1 Cleaning service: Basic daily cleaning @ R250 per day (Monday – Saturday) includes: cleaning of kitchen, living areas (in & outside), and bathrooms (wash dishes, dust, wipe, sweep/ vacuum and mop), and making of beds. Sundays and public holidays @ R350 per day. 6.2 Basic groceries: (to be arranged as soon as possible but no later than 2 weeks before your arrival) If you would like the cupboards to be stocked up with your favourite groceries, we will source it before your arrival. Groceries are mostly brought at Checkers or Woolworths in George. You can pay via credit card or EFT upon arrival. (The invoice/s are for the guests account and an 15% service fee is charged on top of the total invoice amount.) 6.3 Events/ Special Memories: Any occasion you would like to make special while you are staying at Glenkarma? We offer assistance with decor, catering, cakes, etc. (The invoice/s are for the guests account an 15% service fee is charged on top of the total invoice amount). 6.4 A few day-to-day groceries are available from the office i.e. ice, braai wood, selection of rusks, briquettes, firelighters, butter, frozen meals and sour dough breads, toilette paper, fresh organic vegetables from our garden, etc. We will give you a list closer to time of what will be available on your stay. We understand and highly appreciate that, you chose our property because it looks beautiful and welcoming, Please help us to maintain that idea, by treating this like your own home, and making sure that another guest will also find the house fresh, clean, comfortable and welcoming.
