Welcome to Fynbos Cottage, situated in the picturesque village of Betty's Bay
within 5 minutes drive to Main or Silver sands Beaches.
Newly opened, Fynbos Cottage offers self-catering accommodation for up to 6
guests.
It is located in Aster Close at the end of a cul-de-sac, offering both safety
and privacy.
The living area opens onto a sunny patio ,ideal for sunbathing or relaxing.
There is a built-in braai and garden furniture is provided. The patio leads onto
a small fynbos garden where you might be lucky to hear the local robins sing or
catch a glimpse of the beautiful, colourful sunbird.
Decorated in a modern beachside theme, the cottage has 2 bedrooms. As the
cottage has only been open for a couple of months, most of the fixtures,
furniture and linen are brand new. The main bedroom has a king-size bed and a
built-in cupboard. There is also a fireplace in the bedroom to take the chill
off wintery nights.The second bedroom has 2 single beds and a dressing
table.There is a double-sleeper couch in the living area.The bathroom has a
shower over the bath, a hand basin and a toilet .There is also another separate
toilet.
The living, dining and kitchen area is open plan. The kitchen is fully-equipped
with a fridge, oven and hob, microwave ,kettle, toaster, cooking utensils and
cutlery. There is a breakfast bar in the kitchen for quick, convenient eating or
for more relaxing and leisurely dining, eat at the 6-seater dining room
table.The living area is furnished with a comfortable couch and chairs, TV and
DVD player.
In winter make a cosy fire in the lounge and cuddle up with a good book.
Bedding, linen and towels are provided. (Please bring your own beach towels)
There is a lock up garage and a security gate at the front entrance. Both
bedrooms are burglar barred.
Betty's Bay has much to offer for a relaxing holiday. You can spend an afternoon
watching the colony of Jackass Penguins at Stony Point. For nature lovers, visit
Harold Porter Botanical Gardens where you can see a wide variety of fynbos
including proteas, restio's and erica's. Under the right conditions, you can
surf or kite-surf at Main Beach. Why don't you try sandboarding down
the dunes at Silversands?
Betty's Bay offers many activities for adventure lovers including mountain
hikes, horse-riding, fishing, snorkeling and scuba diving. Golf lovers can play
at Kleinmond or the Arabella.
Or spend the day at the beach with the kids, swimming, boogey boarding, building
castles or having a picnic.
