Elandsrus Country Lodge is situated in the Three Sisters area - a well known
landmark for all traveling on the N1 between North and South or to the West
Coast and Namaqualand. Situated in the middle between Beaufort West, Richmond
and Victoria West makes us the perfect stop for worthwhile Karoo farm
accommodation experience. While Elandsfontein farm is an active working sheep
farm, with an array of game and some Nguni cattle it also plays host to guests
in this beautiful surroundings that the Karoo has to offer.
Karoo accommodation at its best - Elandsrus Lodge has four en-suit bedrooms with
a large entertainment area for everyone to relax in. Whether you are sitting
outside enjoying nature and the bush or using the indoor facilities you will
experience the space, quiet surroundings and true Karoo hospitality.
The farm offers many roads to walk and enjoy a vast birdlife, small antelope, a
diverse and interesting array of vegetation and again the sounds and tranquility
of nature. You might have heard that at night the most beautiful stars light up
the sky as only seen in the Karoo - come see for yourself. It's true.
For the adventurous there is a beautiful scenic Mountain bike trail that runs
through unique "ysterkoppies" and is also the best way to get close to the game
on the farm.
Karoo cuisine - Come and enjoy a hearty meal with us in die old farm house.
Guests have a choice from a simple but tasty menu of home cooked meals served
with fresh baked farm bread. "Kuier" with us around the table or in summer, have
a private and romantic dinner under the stars.
Each room has tea and coffee facilities with home baked rusks and after enjoying
this, you stroll over to the farm house for a hearty breakfast of your choice.
