Duncans Rock is a front row sea cottage with the most outstanding 180° beach, breaker sea views as can be seen from the pictures all taken from porch in front of the lounge. This view is ideal for spotting whales, dolphins, the
sardine run, shipping or watching the fishermen to see if they are catching anything. The house is built on a large stand (8000m2) making it very private, a small section of the garden, next the natural rock braai, is totally secluded for topless or nude sunbathing and yet still has a sea view.
The house is large and consists of from left to right if looking at the sea (NB! all these rooms have the same outstanding sea view) 1. Main bedroom en suite with Queen bed, walk in dressing room. 2. Family room with cane furniture an double sleeper couch ideal for two kids. 3. Lounge with lounge suite and TV 4. Bedroom 2 with two single beds and BIC 5. Bedroom 3 with two single beds and BIC. 6. Bedroom 4 (right end bedroom) with two single beds and walk in dressing room with basin. Behind bedrooms 2, 3, 4 are two additional bathrooms. As can be seen the lounge splits the house into two wings making it ideal for large families or even two families. The house is ideal for frail or disabled persons as it is all one level with large open plan area in the middle ie, lounge, dining room and kitchen with straight passages to left and right wings.
The rest of the house consists of entrance hall, dining room with 8 seater table open plan to lounge and kitchen which has a 6 seater breakfast bar, separate scullery and laundry with enclosed drying yard attached to double lock up garage. The house sleeps 8/10 people. The kitchen has a washing machine, under counter oven and hob, toaster, kettle and microwave. All linen is provided except beach towels. The house is smoking or non smoking as you like, ashtrays are provided. TV is the local stations only. The house has an alarm system with 24 hour response.
