Dolphin View Beach House self catering cottage is situated on
Salt Rock main beach, on the Dolphin Coast. A beach lover's paradise, ideal for the entire family.
Take Note:
- You don't get much closer to the beach than this!
- Unspoiled, clean shoreline, with one of the best protected bathing / surfing beaches in KwaZulu-Natal.
- The Salt Rock tidal pool approx. 100 metres away to the left.
- Large, flat, front garden leading onto the beach.
The House
- 4 Rooms all with en-suite. 4th Room is a split level dormitory - sleeping 8 persons (ideally suited for all the kids).
- Total sleeping accommodation = 15 persons.
- A fully fitted kitchen fitted with modern amenities, e.g.: stove, fridge, freezer, microwave.
- Dining room table which seats 6 plus another large circular table on the enclosed verandah which will easily seat another 8 persons.
- TV lounge, which is connected to DSTV (you must bring your sim card)
- Bar / games room. (Includes pool table)
- Off-street parking.
- Domestic helper available at R100.00 per day. Arrangements must be made
prior to arrival. Payment to be made directly to Domestic helper.
- Wheelchair friendly.
There is something for everyone:
- Swimming, surfing, fishing and diving (bring your own equipment).
- Rock pools for little ones.
- Tidal pools for all ages.
- In the garden there is a swing, fire pit, netball hoop, a table and benches.
- Walking distance to library, hotel, clubhouse, shops, restaurants and other amenities.
- Four world class golf courses all within 15 to 30 minutes drive from the house, as well as very good country course less than 10 minutes away.
- Only 1 hour drive to Shakaland or "Valley of 1000 Hills" for day trips.
- Crocodile farm and Reptile park only 15 minutes drive.
- Flagfarm, an animal farm for the kids is 5 minutes drive away.
- Doctors and chemists close by.
- 25 Minutes from Umhlanga Hospital and Gateway Shopping Centre - the largest in the Southern Hemisphere - with the Wavehouse and skateboard park, 16 movie houses, Imax Theatre, Tenpin Bowling, Restaurants and games arcade for kids.
