De Herberg is a typical country Guest House, situated on the N17 route in
Bethal, Mpumalanga, almost halfway between Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal or
Swaziland.
Business man, tourist or Polocrosse player ……? This guest house is your spot. We
provide a high standard of accommodation at a reasonable rate. Home, away from
home with a friendly heart! Close enough to all amenities, restaurants, shops,
gymnasium, swimming pool and even a new excellent Polocrosse venue.
Each of the seven rooms has its own character with unique rough iron furniture,
proudly manufactured by the host. There are three double rooms and three single
rooms, each with its own en suite bathroom existing of a shower, basin and
toilet. And one double room with a bath, basin and toilet. All rooms have tea /
coffee facilities, refreshments, heaters and fans. Remote controlled TV's with
access to SABC 1, 2, 3, E-tv and one open channel for example, videos on
request. Four rooms have outside smoking areas. Laundry can be done daily.
The entire property is secure and all the guests have easy access with own
remote for gate. Enough parking is available. In case of power failures, a
generator will restore all facilities to normal.
Enjoy a delicious farm house breakfast, prepared and served by your host in the
dining room. Or have a rest in the spacious sitting room, listening to the
tranquilizing music of the surround sound. Dinners are available on request,
even a diabetic is welcome.
Unwind with your late afternoon cup of coffee on the verandah, with the singing
sound of nature in the well-kept garden. A beautiful sunset may surprise you!
