Dan Pienaar Guest House, is situated on 80 Genl Hertzog Street in the
northern suburb of Dan Pienaar in Bloemfontein. The guest house offers the
following accommodations. There are 3 double rooms with an en suite bathroom.
Two en-suite rooms have twin beds and one with a double bed. Our fourth room is
a single room outside, all the same as in the 3 rooms inside the main house.
Linens, fresh towels and toiletries are provided. All bathrooms are equipped
with a shower.
Each room has a desk for business, wireless internet connection, colour TV with
M-Net, FM-AM radio, air-conditioning, fan and heaters. For extra warmth and
comfort, an electric blanket is provided during winter months. Each room has its
own coffee and tea tray with fresh homemade rusks. A mini-refrigerator with
filtered water, fresh juice and fresh milk is also made available. For the safe
keeping of your valuables, each room is equipped with a safe. A chocolate on
your pillow will welcome you every day.
The spacious sitting-dining room has a colour TV with M-Net and wireless
internet connection. Self service coffee and tea trays are available.
Outside patios surrounded by a luscious green garden connected with an in-ground
swimming pool, and portable grill/braai. Smoking is not allowed inside the guest
house; however, smoking is allowed in designated areas in the garden and patios.
For your convenience, the guest house provides laundry facilities, a microwave,
cutlery and crockery at the guest’s disposal. Supper is available on request, as
well as an English Breakfast or a Hallal Breakfast.
Safe, covered parking is provided behind electronic gates.
The guest house is 3 km from the soccer and rugby stadium, 600 m from 4
restaurants and 4 take aways. The local business center has multiple grocery
stores and banks.
Bloemfontein can be proud of its many sight seeing places. It offers a zoo, game
reserves and cultural/historical venues for sight seeing. This includes the
National Museum, The National Womens Memorial, 'Oliwenhuis' Art Gallery, a
cheetah farm and 'Soetdoring' game reserve 15 km north of the guest house.
Your hosts Pieter and Felicity Borcherds take pride in their establishment. We
