This holiday cottage on the beach front is as close as you can get to the
beach in Hartenbos . The spectacular view ranges from the Outeniqua Mountains in
the north to the town of Mossel Bay in the south. This is a 180° unobstructed
view of the ocean and the sound of the breakers.
Three bedrooms accommodate 6-8 people. This ideally suited for 6 adults
(privately) and 4 Children on bunk beds (max). The main bedroom is en-suite with
a shower and WC. The 2nd bathroom features a bath and shower. A further two
separate WC's complete the picture. The kitchen is fully equipped with stove,
microwave, cooking utensils and cutlery. There are two refrigerators and a
freezer. DSTV is available at a small fee of R20 per day. You can bring your own
decoder. A inside braai as well as a portable braai is available. Parking for
two vehicles is available on the erf. The garage can park one vehicle. An
affordable cleaning service is available and can be arranged on request.
Hartenbos is well known for its moderate climate. Two shopping centres are
within 5 km away. The amusement park, hot and cold swimming pools, seaside
restaurant and street market is a five minute walk. George airport is a 30
minute drive (35km). With our well maintained roads a drive to Mossel Bay, Diaz
Museum and harbour, restaurants) (10km), Knysna, Cango Caves, and Game Farms are
a pleasure. An early morning walk down the beach or on the paved walkway to the
lagoon sets the pace for a lovely day. Mossel Bay features excellent medical
facilities should it be necessary. Tourist information is available in the
cottage.
