Our name "Dama Dama" is derived from the latin word for the exotic species "Fallow deer" which we use as our emblem. The farm "Dama Dama" is nestled in the rolling grassland hills of the Magaliesburg district. It offers a stunning view of the Magaliesberg mountains and surrounds. The hospitable accommodation and entertainment areas are ideal to accommodate two small or one larger group. Our self catering accommodation is fully equipped with 20 beds currently being available.

The facilities that we offer includes a chimney braai, large open rock built braai, spitbraai, large thatched lapa and heated rock pool. Groups of up to twenty overnight capabilities.

Popular activities are mountain biking, hiking, game viewing (various species on farm), horse riding (organised outrides - prior arrangement & only experienced riders) and bow hunting (prior arrangement). Close daytrips and visits includes "Maropeng", "Blauwberg" Gold Mine (Oldest in the country), coffee shops, restaurants, arts & crafts, candle dipping and hot air balloon rides (we can assist with arrangements).

The accommodation consists of:

1. Fully equipped freestanding cottage with 5 beds, DSTV, microwave, undercounter oven with hob and a fridge/freezer.
2. Loft room with large covered and enclosed deck with own fridge, basin, gas hob, cutlery, crockery etc. on deck. (Stunning view). Downstairs central full bathroom with bath, shower, outside rocksurround shower, dual basin, toilet.
3. Six bed sleeping cabin to supplement larger groups in conjunction with either or both the "cottage" and "loftroom".
4. Large fully equipped unit with open plan kitchen, full bathroom and lounge area. Now the main unit.

Can accommodate three smaller or one large group for small functions and group get togethers, birthdays and "Bachelor/ Bachelorette" parties.

All accommodation is fully equipped with bath towels (not swimming towels), linen, cutlery, crockery etc. We also supply small amenities such as bath soap, dishwashing liquid, salt, coffee, sugar, tea etc.

Remember to bring swimming towels, sunscreen & hats, firewood, ice, binoculars and horseriding kit (if applicable).
