At Chez Nous Bed and Breakfast & Self Catering you will feel at home as our motto is: Our home is your home. Chez Nous C’est Chez Vous. Our great welcome and personal attention say it all.

Our accommodation at Chez Nous B&B consists of 11 well-appointed double rooms. We cater for a group of up to 24 people sharing. We also have self-catering accommodation situated on our premises.

Bed and Breakfast Units

Our bed and breakfast units consist of four double bed rooms and one single room. Each bedroom has its own decor and theme including DSTV and a small fridge.

Self-Catering Units

The self-catering units are safely and securely located on the Chez Nous premises. They have their own fully equipped kitchens, dining areas and showers / baths.

The units also have secure safe parking spaces and are equipped with Television and their own entertainment area.

All the bedrooms in the self-catering units are equipped with fans, heaters, and mosquito repellents. Braai (Barbeque) facilities are also available.

Our Breakfast

Our South African breakfast, with its French touch (our famous French omelette served with fresh Cappuccino) will give you a great start to your day.

If you prefer a smaller breakfast or if you have a special diet, we will accommodate your special needs. With us, you will be treated like royalty.

Our Dinner

Our 3 course dinners are served with home grown organic vegetables and loved by all of our guests. You must please book in advance for you gourmet three course dinner.
 

EXECUTIVE ROOMS

CYCAD ROOM
The Cycad Room is one of our executive or luxury rooms. It is a large room, fronted by a beautiful garden with a table and chairs where you can enjoy your tea or sundowners in lovely surroundings. The room consists of a Queen Size bed with a memory foam mattress, guaranteeing you a fantastic night’s sleep with the block out curtains. The en suite bathroom has recently been revamped and equipped with a large shower and brand-new basin and toilet. All our rooms have DSTV & Free Wi-Fi.
A small fridge is in the room for your convenience as well as tea and coffee, milk and sugar. Parking is undercover.

SPA ROOM
The Spa Room is one of our executive or luxury rooms. It is a large room, fronted by a beautiful garden with a table and chairs where you can enjoy your tea or sundowners in lovely surroundings. THE MADAGASCAR SELF-CATERING FAMILY ROOM
Madagascar Self-Catering Family Room is very spacious. The room is perfect for a family of four. It consists of a Queen bed and two singles. It has a flat screen TV with all sports channels for the whole family to enjoy. The en suite bathroom has shower facilities. A fridge and microwave have been provided, should you require full self-catering facilities there is a fully equipped kitchen available for your use. Tea and coffee facilities are in the room.

THE EARL GREY FLAT / SELF CATERING UNIT
The Earl Grey is a self- catering luxurious flat with own entrance and veranda; it is a very spacious flat with a beautiful bathroom and shower.
The bedroom has a king size bed that can be converted into two single beds with DSTV.
The flat has a small lounge with kitchen facilities perfect for self-catering. In winter all our beds are provided with electric blankets to ensure our guests are warm for those chilly nights. There is secure under cover parking available.

CLASSIC ROOMS

THE MAURITIAN ROOM
The Mauritian Room is a beautiful room with a cool, relaxing atmosphere. The large Queen Size bed guarantees you a great night’s rest. Step outside your door and you are greeted by our abundant bird life and fruit trees, a table and chairs has been provided so you can sit in the garden and take in the atmosphere. The en suite bathroom has shower facilities. As with all our rooms you will have DSTV and tea and coffee facilities. The Mauritian Room also has a small fridge and microwave for your convenience.

EGYPTIAN ROOM
The Egyptian Room is perfect for a couple or a single. The front door opens to a lovely view of our gardens, a table and chairs have been provided should you wish to sit outside and take a look at our abundant bird life.
The room consists of two single beds and en suite shower and block out curtains. During the winter months when it can get rather chilly, an electric blanket will be provided for your convenience. As with all our rooms, you have access to DSTV and of course tea and coffee facilities.

STANDARD ROOMS

SELF-CATERING 104 HOUSE
The 104 house has a fully equipped spacious kitchen with electric and gas stove, microwave and fridge. The lounge has a flat screen television with DSTV. The bathroom is completely refurbished and looking stunning.
The house consists of three rooms (French, African & Japanese) the one room has an en suit bathroom with shower facilities. All the rooms have DSTV and tea and coffee facilities.

THE FRENCH ROOM
The French Room is very spacious, gives you a touch of France. The room consists of a king size bed and it has a gorgeous en suite bathroom with shower facilities.
If you require full self- catering this room has access to a large fully equipped kitchen and a lounge with Flat screen TV/ DSTV.

THE AFRICAN ROOM
The African Room is a standard size room, it has two single beds. The room has TV / DSTV. Towels and soaps are provided.
This room has access to a large fully equipped kitchen and lounge with a flat screen TV/DSTV. The unit shares a stunning, newly renovated bathroom with shower facilities and separate toilet.

THE JAPANESE ROOM
The Japanese Room is a standard size room with an oriental feel. The room consist of a double bed with TV/ DSTV. The room has a cupboard and desk for your convenience.
The Japanese room shares a stunning newly renovated bathroom with separate toilet and can be used in conjunction with the African Room for a family or larger group. Towels and soaps are provided.
This room has access to a large fully equipped kitchen with gas and electric stove. The veranda has a braai area, table and chairs to enjoy the view of our beautiful gardens. There is secure undercover parking available.

THE MALI ROOM
The Mali room consist of a double bed with en suite shower facilities and DSTV. The room has a private entrance and veranda, were you can sit and enjoy our bird life.
For your convenience we have provided a desk in the room and a bar fridge, microwave, tea and coffee facilities. There is secure undercover parking available.

THE KENYA ROOM
The Kenya room is a beautiful standard size room with a double bed. The room has block out blinds and on suite bathroom with shower facilities and TV/ DSTV.
We have provided a microwave, tea and coffee facilities for your convenience.
There is a veranda where you can relax and enjoy our bird life. The unit has its own private entrance and secure undercover parking.

Chez Nous is managed by owner Elisabeth Durham, who is French and is dedicated to personal attention and a qualified tour guide.

Chez Nous Bed &Breakfast, meaning “at home” brings Japanese, Egyptian, Mauritian, Earl Grey, Cycad, Spa, African, Mali, Kenya, Madagascar and French to your door step. Our establishment truly lives up to its name with all the outstanding service and hospitality that will make you feel at home. This bed and breakfast took it upon itself to create rooms with each of the above-mentioned themes instead of numbers. The home itself has a French finish and we are known for our famous French omelette and freshly baked croissants and homemade bread.

The B&B is located in central Dundee, KwaZulu-Natal. It offers guests 11 well-appointed modern and comfortable rooms. The bed and breakfast units come with a small fringe, en-suite bathrooms, double or single beds, fans and heaters and DSTV. The self-catering units are installed with a kitchen, dining area, bath or shower, DSTV, fans and heaters and braai facilities.

For all golf enthusiasts, there is an 18-hole golf course, squash and tennis club about 2km away from the Bed and Breakfast.
