Chateau de Carolle is a locally owned private home which is operated
as a B&B, beautifully renovated & transformed to its former elegance with the
addition of secluded paved courtyards, water features, herb gardens &
surrounding patio's. Located in the heart of Greenside, a peaceful historic &
Jacaranda tree lined suburb of Johannesburg.
Luxury Self Catering Cottages:
These spacious cottages are decorated with particular attention to detail with an
eclectic blend of interesting collectables in old French Provencal style,
antique furniture & original art by the owner. The cottages offer optimal
independence with separate entrances allowing for privacy to discerning business
or leisure guests. Access into the property is via 2 driveways affording secure
off road parking for several vehicles. Our well lit property is monitored by CCTV camera's & linked to a 24 hour security reaction company.
Queen suite has shower over bath, mini kitchen nook which is equipped
with microwave, kettle & fridge, TV & complementary wifi. The separate stairway
entrance provides peaceful accommodation for a tranquil stay.
King Suite Cottage An open plan lounge dining room area leads through double
French doors onto a herb patio for indoor/outdoor entertaining. The kitchen is
fully equipped with a 4-plate Gas Stove with oven & warming drawer, a microwave,
fridge/freezer, coffee machine, toaster & kettle. The bedroom has a King-size
bed which is en suite to a bathroom with shower leading onto a courtyard through
double French doors. Guests can relax in ultimate comfort surrounded by elegant
interiors of colour, light & charm.
Double Suite Cottage A charming cosy cottage with twin or King size beds
en-suite to a large bathroom with bath and separate walk in shower. The
kitchenette is equipped with microwave, toaster, kettle & electric wok for
convenience of simple self-catering. French doors open onto a paved courtyard
where sundowners can be enjoyed in tranquillity.
Family Suite Cottage Our spacious family cottage consists of two bedrooms
and sleeps a maximum of 8 people. Each bedroom is en suite with opening onto
courtyards through double French doors. The bedroom's have optional single or
King sized beds and there are 2 sleeper couches which may be made up on request
in the lounge. The entry is via double French doors to a fully fitted open plan
lounge/kitchen with stove & oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee machine,
utensils, cutlery and crockery, etc. which allows for optimal convenience of
self-catered meals.
