The four coastal nature reserves surrounding the village offer various trails for the nature lover. For the more adventurous, the view from the top of 1878 Cape St Francis lighthouse is worth the effort. With angling spots a plenty on the rocky coast and one of the best right breaks in the country, Cape St Francis will appeal to the active.
For those seeking to explore the surrounds, the active commercial and recreational harbour of Port St Francis with its fine restaurants and shops, is a mere 10 minute drive away. Deep sea fishing and scuba diving charters depart from the harbour. The true test of links golf can be sought at the St Francis Links, a Jack Nicklaus signature coarse as well as the adjacent St Francis Golf Club. The Village at St Francis offers some interesting shops, arts and crafts and excellent restaurants for the not-so-active, a 5 minute drive away from the CFront Holiday Flat.
