Canelands is positioned directly on the secluded Salt Rock beach, just 5
minutes from Ballito on the magnificent north coast, and is the only exclusive
private residence in the area. The Beach residence has 10 spacious
bedrooms all en suite with incredible sea views. The bathrooms are a statement
on they own. The residence sleeps only 20 guests and offers absolute luxury and
privacy. The Canelands Beach Club is a one-of-a-kind experience whether it is
being served by beach butlers on the beach or having menus prepared daily by the
chefs.
This property has a beautiful pool deck that runs the length of the deck and
overlooks the sea and beach. The pool a 25 meter lap pool has a cocktail seat
the entire length and is suitable for sitting and enjoying cocktails, while
watching the dolphins play in the ocean. The dolphins visit the residence daily
and is a treat to watch them playing in the waves.
The residence has wi fi internet facility and can be reached in every room,
lounge and bar area. Every room has a plasma TV which has the following
channels: SABC123, MNET, MM1,MM2, Sport channels. If you don't feel like
watching in your room, the lounge area downstairs has a plasma screen.
The verandah area has lounge and pool loungers for soaking up the sun.
Canelands is on the beach so you can lie on the beach and order drinks or food
by just putting a flag in the sand for the waiters attention.
The property is in front of the Tiffany beach which has shark nets. At low tide
you can walk on the rocks and observe the sealife in the rock pools.
The swimming beach is to the right of the Canelands and is a short walk away. To
the left of the property is "grannies pool", for the calm and leisurely swim.
This is also perfect for small children.
Canelands is only 20 minutes away from the new King Shaka airport. Transfers to
and from the airport can be arranged. Ballito village is only 5 minutes away and
has a number of shopping centre's to browse around should you not feel like the
beach.
The 24 hour reception is always ready to organize day tours, deep sea fishing
trips, horse riding on the beach, dolphin watching, safaris and quad biking.
