Buffalo Thorn Safari Lodge is situated on 20km from Martinsdrift/Groblersbrug Border post to Botswana, making it the ideal stop over on route to Zimbabwe and also Mapungubwe national Park. This 4 star luxury lodge is part of a private game reserve in the world renowned Waterberg Savannah Biosphere.

This neo- colonial styled lodge embraces nature at every turn and can accommodate a maximum of 18 quests. Every chalet has an ensuite bathroom, outside rock shower, barfridge, coffee bar and airconditioner. The mainbuilding with its fireplace, satellite TV lounge and dinning room leads on to the big hearty stoep, overlooking the waterhole and makes for great entertainment. The stoep also leads to the swimming pool and the boma forming the perfect place to bring family and friends together.
