B'sorah Tented Camp is situated between Hartbeespoortdam and Krugersdorp, no
more than an hour away from both Johannesburg and Pretoria. Despite being so
close, you will find yourself in a totally different world - Africa at its best.
The Tented Camp is comprised of four luxury tents set under huge trees, on the
edge of a stream near the Skeerpoortriver. Accommodation consists of a
queen-size bed, upholstered chairs, and an en-suite bathroom with separate
shower facing the vegetation. The covered deck has a kitchenette, with crockery
and cutlery, and there is a lovely barbecue area next to the tent. The location
of each tent has been handpicked for beauty and privacy. Each deck overlooks the
stream and the area abounds with birdlife. Hiking and cycling is a great way to
get closer to nature and to experience some of the rarer creatures such as
Mountain reedbuck and dassies, and to investigate tracks and birdlife. Other
game such as kudu, impala, waterbuck, warthogs, and blesbuck are to be seen more
frequently.
Here you can relax in a natural environment where the twitter of birds, the
presence of roaming game and the trickle of a gentle stream is all that
surrounds you. The 1700 hectare farm consists of dense bush, open grassland and
riverine vegetation which runs along the banks of streams flowing into the
Skeerpoort river. B'sorah is a nature lover's paradise, a place to unwind, relax
and get in tune with nature again.
Hartbeespoortdam is only fifteen minutes away, and the surrounding attractions,
shops and facilities will satisfy every need and keep you busy for hours. At
sunset you will hear the francolins' call, the perfect accompaniment to your
evening barbecue.
