in Borakalalo National Park, Eastern Region,

Borakalalo - meaning "Place where people relax", is a 14000-hectare, malaria
free Brits.
The unusual eco diverse terrain within the National Park, consists of
broad-leafed and Acacia woodland together with the riverside forests along the
banks of the Moretele River. The 800-hectare Klipvoor Dam is situated in the
Park and is renowned for its excellent fishing.
Wildlife:
Bird viewing is exceptional with parts of the Park Zoned for wilderness trails.
Over 350 bird species have been recorded, including rarities such as the African
Finefoot and White backed Night Heron. It is also the home to 35 species of
mammals including Giraffe, White Rhino, Leopard, Zebra and a wide variety of
Antelope.
The best areas for walking are the Tholo Loop, Audi Loop and the picnic and
camping areas which follow the dam shoreline. Game drives are easily negotiated
on the extensive road network, accessible to all vehicles.
Phudufudu Tented Camp:
Phudufudu Camp is an exclusive and peaceful hideaway concealed in a large
natural woodland, comprising of 10 safari tents and a dining area with a 10 - 20
seater conference room.
The 4 Luxury Tents rest on stilts with a wooden deck. Each tent has a double bed
with linen, toilet with a bath and fully equipped kitchenette with a bar fridge.
The Standard Tents are constructed on concrete plinths and are equipped with 2
single beds, linen, towels, clothing cupboard, side table and 2 chairs with a
cocktail table on the patio.
Ablution facilities are located near the tents and consist of showers and
toilets.
There is an attractive rock-walled lounge / dining area with large patio
overlooking the watering hole and swimming pool.
The fully equipped kitchen with crockery, cutlery, glassware, utensils, gas
operated oven, deepfreeze and fridge is centrally situated for guest use.
Guests are required to provide and cook their own food in the central kitchen.
