Enjoy one of the most spectacular views in Kenton whilst relaxing in this tastefully appointed venue. The use of colour throughout Beach House has been thoughtfully selected. The effect is one of tranquillity, and serves to provide a sympathetic frame to the ever-changing beauty of the ocean and Bushman’s river

The village of Kenton is located in the sunny Eastern Cape of South Africa and boasts some of the most beautiful stretches of beach and protected coves in the country. During the season it is a popular and vibrant holiday resort, but out of season it is tranquil and unspoilt. Guests are afforded walking, hiking, fishing, boating, birding, canoeing, surfing and kiting, tennis, squash and bowls.

Game viewing of the Big Five is within easy access of Kenton as there are several Game Reserves in the immediate area.

The nearby villages of Salem and Bathurst are historically interesting and were founded by the 1820 Settlers. The Diaz Memorial Cross which was erected to commemorate the landing of Bartholomew Diaz is also well worth visit. The walk is just 6km (between 1.5 and 2 hours) along the beach from the Bushman’s river. It can also be accessed by road.

Beach House has 4 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 10 people:

Master Suite

Whilst lying in bed, reclining in the tub or showering in the outdoor courtyard you are treated to spectacular views of the ocean and Bushman’s River. If chilly it is great to snuggle under the mohair blanket or throw.

Second double bedded room

Is a sun drenched restfully appointed room with built in dressing table and ample cupboards.

Third Bedroom

Is a sunny twin-bedded room

Fourth bedroom
Is ideal for children and is furnished with 2 single beds as well as a double bunk bed.

Description of facilities
The inter-leading lounge and dining room is furnished in a relaxed manner with hand-crafted furniture and mohair rugs. Both lead onto an attractively planted and sheltered courtyard which is ideal for barbecues and entertaining as well as for enjoying the view. The dining room leads onto a sea-facing patio which is a wonderful venue for sundowners, breakfast or bird-watching.
