Situated 5 minutes from the centre of the City of Pietermaritzburg and 2 minutes from the National Botanic Gardens, Babbling Brook offers 3 tastefully decorated rooms with en-suite bathrooms.

Babbling Brook is situated an hour's drive from Durban and an hour and a half from the lovely Drakensberg Mountains through the famous Midlands Meander.

Each room has a separate entrance with undercover parking. Breakfasts are served on the patio or in your room, if preferred and dinners are served on request. Two of the rooms are set in park like surroundings at the bottom of the garden. These rooms offer a self-catering option as both are fully equipped with fridges, microwave, hotplates, iron etc.

Facilities include a pub with a lounge area and library for relaxation plus a small pool to cool off in. We are pet friendly and have BBQ facilities outside the pub.

The rooms are fitted with 100% percale linen, DSTV & air conditioning in two of the rooms with a fan & heater in the third plus complimentary tea/coffee & rusks/biscuits. All rooms can be configured with single beds if required. All our rooms are non-smoking rooms. Internet access is available.

We are within 10 minutes of The Royal Showground, Art in the Park, Cars in the Park, Hospitals and the start of the Comrades Marathon and Duzi Canoe Race. The Midlands Meander is approximately 30 minutes away. There are a number of good restaurants within close proximity and most of the private schools are not too far. We have 3 stunning golf courses within a 20 minute radius of our City.
