Avoca Lodge is situated in a quiet and rural part of Benoni. 10 minutes drive from O.R. Tambo International Airport (previously known as Johannesburg International) and you will be amazed and transformed by this charming country setting. It is run by Michelle Smith who has 5 years experience in the hotel and catering industry.
There are 2 double rooms, both with en suite bathrooms/showers. They have their own private entrances, ensuring that guests can come and go as they please. Each room has their own Television and Fridge along with a complimentary Tea and Coffee work station. Guests can enjoy free wireless access. Guests are welcome to use the swimming pool and veranda. Additional to the establishment is the newly built "Cottage". This is a fully furnished 2 bed roomed apartment consisting of the Lilly Room and The Studio Room. The Cottage also consists of a lounge, dinning area, kitchen and bathroom. The Cottage is ideal for business colleagues or for families requiring self catering.
The lodge provides secure undercover parking and Airport transfers are available.
We strive to ensure that all guests are made as comfortable as possible with the uniqueness of sharing a day in the life of a South African house hold.
House breakfast is served daily with a choice of venue, the most popular being the patio looking out over the neighbouring horses, ostriches and guinea fowl. Evening meals are served on request at a reasonable rate and we strive to accommodate individual requirements as much as possible.
Avoca Lodge is situated within 5-10 minute drive away from Kopanong Hotel & Conference Centre, Grasslands Driving Range, Homestead Dam, Bullfrog Pan (the largest in the Southern Hemisphere), Gym facilities and a number of Shopping Malls complete with cinemas. Emperor's Palace casino is a mere 15 minute drive away.
