Come and relax in the town of Vredendal with its tranquil character.
Vredendal lies in the heart of the Olifantsriver valley and is the ideal stop
over between Cape Town and Namibia/Upington. Vredendal is 20 minutes' drive from
the sea and is the ideal place to stay over to have a look at all the flowers
from Namaqualand and drink exquisite wines. Vredendal is also an hour's drive
from Lamberts bay and Nieuwoudtville in opposite directions.
Renowned for its intricate irrigation scheme, the Olifants River allows for
extensive agriculture in the area. The valley is thus green and fertile and lies
surrounded by the majestic Gifberg, Maskam and Kobee peaks creating a peaceful
heaven to get away from it all.
Vredendal also hosts the well-known Huisgenoot Namaquafees at the end of October
each year.
In our stylish decorated room we offer clean, white linen, with tea or coffee
and freshly home baked rusks in the morning. We have room for two people. The
room is also equipped with a TV with a MNet decoder and a stocked bar fridge.
The bathroom is equipped with a shower.
