Atkinson's Beach House is uniquely set right on the main swimming beach at
Cape St Francis ... walk off your front lawn onto the sand!
The House
There are 6 bedrooms and a loft, sleeping a total of about 18 to 20 comfortably.
(Bedrooms are double, with a number of mattresses in the loft.) 4 bedrooms
are en-suite. There are 3 more toilets, a bath and separate shower. There is an
outside hot and cold shower for rinsing off after a swim. The lounge, dining
room and kitchen are open plan, with a separate scullery. The games room has
table tennis. The lounge has a TV, Hi Fi and many books to read. There is a
magnificent view of the beach from most rooms. Maids/ gardeners ablutions are
found outside the kitchen
Position
Situated in a village rich in character and steeped in indigenous history. Being
right on the beach, there is immediate access to great fishing spots, and world
renowned surf spots - Seal Point, Bruce's, Jeffreys Bay. Very near Jeffreys Bay
for shopping, surfing, entertainment. Not far from Oyster Bay - wild and
beautiful. Hiking trails right through to the Tsitsikama forest area. Watch your
family play on the sand and in the surf from the comfort of your verandah.
Attractions
Internationally renowned surf spot - Seal Point, and a magnificent beach break
right in front of the house, with famous Bruce's Beauties just around the
corner. Wonderful fishing. Great swimming. Shell collectors' dream. Tranquil
walks along the nature trails, virtually on the doorstep. (Cape St Francis is
completely surrounded by proclaimed nature reserve.)
Appliances
The kitchen has a built-in stove, microwave, fridge, deep freeze,washing
machine. There is a bar fridge in the games room.
Braais
Under the cover of the large verandah is an outdoor braai. On the other side of
the house, facing west is another built-in braai. A further braai is situated on
the front lawn just above the beach
Garage
The garage is the length of two cars. Paddle skis and body boards are available
in the garage as well as a Volleyball net.
