Ashbrook in Malherbe Street is a sister establishment to Ashbrook Country
Lodge in Hill Street. These two cottages were also custom built as cottages for
those travelers wanting luxurious home comforts. With a one and two bedroom
cottage available, Ashbrook can accommodate couples or families. The Ashbrook
properties are situated in the village of Clarens, within walking distance of
the town square where restaurants, art galleries and interesting shops abound.
Each cottage has an open fireplace in the lounge, under floor heating (Eskom
permitting) and the beds are all fitted with electric blankets. Ashbrook at 73
Malherbe Street opened in December 2006.
The cottages are modern and well equipped. Queen size beds are standard in the
main bedrooms and twin beds in the second bedroom. The main bedrooms have a bath
and shower en suite whilst the second bedroom offers an en suite shower, basin
and toilet. Cotton sheets, down duvets and large fluffy towels are supplied and
the kitchens are fully equipped. The two bedroom cottage at Malherbe Street has
a sleeper couch in the lounge which can be used for two children or one adult.
Cottage No 3 is a one bedroom loft cottage, built in the eaves with its own
private patio and braai.
Both cottages have satellite TV, offer secure parking and are serviced once a
day.
When staying at Ashbrook Country Lodge you are assured of relaxing and tranquil
surroundings with magnificent mountain views. The Malherbe Street cottages are
located on one of the few tarred roads in Clarens and have magnificent views
of
the Maluti Mountains.
Ashbrook Country Lodge is a non smoking establishment but ashtrays are provided
for use on the patios.
