Areia No Sapato is set in the heart of the beautiful Ponta do Oura, We
currently have two Chalets, each compromising of a master bedroom with a double
bed, and an open plan dining room/lounge, with 4 bunk beds. The Chalets are
fully furnished and self serviced.
We advise guests to only drink bottled mineral water. The chalet has 220V
electricity. Braai facilities are also provided. Please feel free to refresh
yourself under the moonlight shower. The cottage has got all the basic
necessities. Kindly make sure you read the rules booklet provided in the
cottage. There is bedding, cutlery, crockery etc. No towels are provided.
Some places are just meant to be! After your journey to the beautiful Ponta, you
will find your state of mind to set into a relaxing mood. Feel free to discover
the area whilst taking a slow walk or drive. We suggest the walks as the site
seeing is amazing and the local conversations are charming! The local pubs,
beach bars and restaurants are sure to tantalize any mood. For those who seek
excitement and adventure, you can enjoy swimming with the dolphins, scuba
diving, snorkelling, the sand pits for 4 x 4's and quad bikes. For the fisherman
charters can be arranged with the local charter companies, prices to be
confirmed with them. Spoil yourself and take a hike up to the light house for a
spectacular view over Ponta.
You can access Ponta do Ouro through the Kosi Bay border post. The border post
is open seven days a week from 08h00 to 17h00 your vehicle can be left at a
privately owned parking lot with 24 hour security at a cost of R30 per day.

Requirements at the border post - Passports, Registration papers for your
vehicle(if you are crossing the border with your vehicle). Please check with AA
regarding Stickers, R17.00 per passport, 3rd party insurance, Import duties on
your vehicle +- R150.00 per vehicle and +- R90.00 per trailer
