The owners, Issy and Hannes, would like to invite you to Ambience Inn. Set in a 2 acres rambling plantsman's garden. We are a bed and breakfast in the established part of
White River. We are close to the world renowned
Kruger National Park, in the heart of the subtropical South African Lowveld. Only three hours drive from Johannesburg. We have traveled extensively and we like to pamper our guests with our experience.
Accommodation
We have six comfortable en-suite bedrooms, with either queen-size or twin beds. Additionally, each room has it's own verandah and courtyard with a second bushveld shower, open to the sun, moon and stars. Each room has TV and a tea and coffee tray. All rooms have air-conditioning. Breakfast is served at the main house, on the bottom verandah next to the koi pond. Dinners is available by prior arrangement, or enjoy dinner at any of the several restaurants in town. Safe parking behind your room. Internet facilities available. We now have a 15 meter, sparkling, infinity overflow, swimming pool.
Legogote Mountain
When in the White River area, you can't miss it. It looks like a lions head facing east. You can even see it from our balcony. It is our favorite setting for the most spectacular sunsets and sundowners, and you won't find it on any tourist map.

Many artists, some famous, people who practise alternative healing and people who wanted to escape the rat race have all been attracted to White River. Some will even tell you that here is some magical/mystical power in the area. For the more, shall we say, sober minded amongst us, the reasons are:
