We invite you to have a holiday to remember where personalized hospitality &
in-depth knowledge of the Garden Route will ensure that you experience it all in
one of the most beautiful settings in the world, surrounded by lakes, forests,
mountains and many miles of beautiful beaches. This is truly the Nature-lover's
"Paradise" with so much to offer in the immediate and surrounding areas.
We offer a comfortable, very well-equipped up-market home in a security complex
on The Island in Sedgefield ("where the tortoise sets the pace"), situated 30
kms midway between Knysna and George.
Sleeping a maximum of 6 people this home offers the following:
- 3 Bedrooms (1 Double, 2 Single, 2 Single) and 2 Full Bathrooms
- An open-plan Lounge with DVD Player, Colour TV with FULL DSTV. (No need
to bring own Smart Card).
- A Dining Room with a mini Music Centre
- A fully equipped Kitchen with double-door Fridge/Freezer, a 4-plate
glass-top Hob & under-counter Oven
- A Scullery with a Dishwasher, Washing Machine & Tumble Dryer
- Other appliances include a Microwave, Toaster, Kettle etc.
- Lockup garaging is supplied for 1 vehicle
- A huge, partially-covered Patio, set in a delightful garden, overlooks
the complex park and is ideal for the use of the portable braai and outdoor
furniture supplied.
- Bed Linen and Bath Towels are supplied - kindly bring your own beach
towels & umbrella.
Please note:
- A daily service is not normally provided.
- Interim Cleans & linen changes will be considered in relation to the
length of stay.
- Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate any pets whatsoever.
The home is close to the village which has a wide range of amenities, is a
stone's throw from our famous Wild Oats Farmers' Market and also within a comfortable 3 blocks walk to the Swartvlei Lake where many folk
swim. In addition, many options of beaches are a quick 5-10 mins drive away.
A lovely spectacle from the complex is provided from time to time by Paragliders taking off from the mountain ridge above the village, quite aptly named
"Cloud Nine". Available on request, we have additional photographs relating to
the accommodation and of some of the many other panoramic views of Sedgefield
and surrounds.
The surroundings offer many activities including the following:
