Santorini also known as "The Jewel of the Dolphin Coast" is without peer in
the area. Its designer set out to capture the ambiance of its Greek island
namesake and was so successful that he won an award for his creation. The laid
back holiday atmosphere pervades as soon as one enters the gates. Without the
expense of an overseas trip one can can enjoy sun, sea, sand and immaculately
maintained white villas, just 30mins from Durban, on the North Coast of Natal.
Most importantly, more than 50% of Santorini has been left as natural coastal
bush. An idyllic setting with all the magic of Africa on hand! Several nature
trails run through the complex.
The Villa
This unit is located facing north with beautiful views of the sea and coastline,
directly overlooking a swimming pool.
Facilities
This unit has 2 bedrooms, accommodating a total maximum of 6 persons. It is
serviced daily, Monday to Saturday. From the patio one can enjoy the sea and
pool views with sundowners. It is equipped with both a braai and a small weber.
The main bedroom with queen-size bed opens on to the patio. The en-suite
bathroom consists of a bath, toilet and basin. The second bedroom is furnished
with 2 three-quarter beds and the second bathroom consists of a shower, toilet
and basin. In the lounge a sleeper couch can convert to a King-size bed or 2
separate three-quarter beds. The unit has ducted air conditioning and is
equipped with a colour TV, DVD player, DStv, (hire a smart card or Bring your
own), fridge/freezer, stove, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, kitchen
utensils and iron. Your car is housed in a lock-up garage. This secure complex
has 6 swimming pools and a tennis court with gated access to 2 beaches -
Thompson's Bay and Sunrise Beach.
Bed linen is supplied. South African guests must bring their own bath and beach
towels. Bath towels will be supplied for overseas visitors with pleasure, as
they are bulky things to travel with.
We request that guests comply with the law and smoke only in outside areas.
Amenities
The Dolphin Coast boasts modern shopping centres, many supermarkets and dozens
of restaurants from fine dining to take-away. In addition it is a 20 minute
drive to Gateway Shopping centre where one can comfortably while away a rainy
day. The Hluhluwe-Mfolozi Game reserve is just a 2 hour drive away and can
easily be visited on a day trip.
