The Complex
Akrotiri is one of six beautiful Greek style villages within the Santorini Complex, situated along the Dolphin coastline. Each village, painted white in true Greek style, is nestled on a hill amongst dense vegetation giving the village its wonderful Mediterranean ambiance. Each village has a swimming pool nearby and there is a Tennis court for the more energetic. A five-minute walk to your left, through the Thera village, will bring you to the popular Thompson's Bay, where there is a huge tidal pool for the kids to play. A short walk to the right, down to the Perissa village, offers a semi private beach for those wanting to avoid the crowds. Further along the beach, a climb over the cliffs will bring you to Ballito's well known Willard's Beach where there is lots of entertainment offered during the holiday seasons.
The Villa
The fully furnished, air conditioned unit, positioned just behind the front row, has a warm African ambience consisting of three bedrooms, and two bathrooms, sleeping 6 people comfortably. The main bedroom is furnished with a double bed and the en-suite has a bath, basin and toilet. The large second bedroom is furnished with two single beds and has its own private balcony and the third bedroom has two single beds. A bathroom with a shower, basin and toilet serves these two rooms. The open plan lounge, equipped with TV, DVD player, Hi-Fi System and DStv (bring your own SIM card, or hire one), opens up onto a large balcony ideal for entertaining or relaxing (a weber for barbequing/braaing is provided). The kitchen has all the necessary appliances a cook could need. There is a sea view from the main bedroom and the lounge.
Bring beach towels and umbrellas, bath towels, tennis rackets, etc.
Laundry facilities are available in the complex near the Thera village, and there is secure parking with a 24 hour security patrol.
Daily servicing of the apartment is available should you require it. This can be arranged at an extra fee.
