of Sandton. Within easy reach of the business and entertainment centre of the
Sandton CBD. Easy access to the main freeway is only a few minutes away which
can link you with Pretoria, Midrand, O.R. Tambo International Airport and the
Johannesburg CBD.
Added attractions nearby include the Planet Active gym, the Wanderers golf
course and Monte Casino entertainment centre all of which are within easy
commuting distance.
Accommodation
Liz offers quiet sophisticated accommodation for the business executive and
discerning holiday traveler. Liz is able to offer help and assistance with
onward bookings tours and general information plus contact details with all
tourism organisations.
A Hundred Thousand Welcomes offers three stylish and comfortable suites with
their own entrances, lovely garden, patio and sparkling pool where you can relax
and unwind. We are also fortunate to have an abundance of local birdlife. Liz
and her husband Iain are both runners and have planned routes throughout the
local area for anyone who would be interested in joining them on their early
morning jogs.
A wake-up service is available so you won't be late for those important
meetings. Each suite has been beautifully furnished with meticulous attention to
detail, including DSTV, well stocked fridge and mini bar, tea/coffee tray,
microwave, hairdryer, heater and a fan and electric blanket for those cold
highveld winter evenings. A link with Mr. Delivery is available for ordering
evening meals.
Facilities
There is adequate off road parking for the guest and any clients or other
visitors. Visitors can enjoy the added convenience of a laundry service. The
suburb is a quiet leafy secure haven. There is secure parking behind remote
controlled gates. The suburb is boomed and patrolled 24/7 by a well known
security company with armed response. The house is armed with electric fences and armed response. We also have Wi Fi.
Liz is happy to assist with airport shuttles, sightseeing excursions and theatre
bookings. Delicious breakfasts are served in the main house or on the patio
overlooking the pool.
Location
Sandhurst is within easy reach of the business centre, wonderful restaurants,
theatres and cinemas plus the superbly appointed and exciting covered shopping
malls of Hyde Park, Sandton City and Mandela Square. Rosebank is close by and
offers a European style open air boulevard experience with paved walkways,
continental cafes, restaurants, cinemas and the world famous roof top markets
which offer a wide variety of arts and crafts from all over Africa.
