Within the Hottentots Holland Mountain area there are:
- Hiking Trails (Danie Miller trail, nearby Kogelberg Biosphere Nature Reserve)
- Whale watching along the scenic route from Gordons Bay to Hermanus. (June to November when the Southern Right whales visit each year)
- Several famous Wine Estates are close by on route to the historic towns of Paarl and the Franschoek valley.
- Safe cycling routes.
- The Somerset Mall offers a broad range of shops, cinemas and restaurants.

Cape Town International Airport is 30 minutes away and transfers can be arranged. Other places of interest only 40 minutes away, is
