African Dreams Bed & Breakfast is a family owned and managed establishment situated on the Quigney, one of the oldest and historic suburbs of East London.

Whether you are a weary businessman, a family in need of affordable yet luxurious accommodation, or a tourist visiting our beautiful city, let our friendly staff cater to your every need with true South African hospitality.

With a unique African feel, our rooms are luxuriously appointed with all the modern conveniences, as well as en-suite bathrooms, private entrances and secure parking. All our rooms are air-conditioned.

A delicious breakfast is served daily.

Our swimming pool is nestled in a lush tropical garden setting with a stylish deck and a view of the sea, and beach towels are provided for our guests use.

African Dreams is located close to the airport, and a shuttle service is available should you require it. We are also conveniently close to the CBD, doctors and hospitals, sports stadiums such as Buffalo Park Cricket Stadium and ABSA Stadium, and a short walk to the Beach and the restaurants on the Esplanade We can arrange day trips to various places of interest, including The Nelson Mandela Freedom Trail, Game Drives and Shebeen and Tavern Tours. For the more adventurous, there are numerous activities including Quad Biking, Abseiling, Horse Riding, Hikes and more.

All our Suites contain a microwave, kettle, bar fridge, DStv, complimentary tea and coffee trays, air-conditioners, and a fully stocked Honesty Bar. Each room has a private outside entrance, and access to the lounge, dining room and deck from the inside.

Lion Room Honeymoon Suite
This spacious and luxurious room, named after this majestic "King of the Beasts", and decorated in subtle tawny browns and creams. With a Queen sized bed, en-suite bathroom containing a spa bath and double shower, this is the perfect suite for a honey moon couple.

Elephant Room Luxury Suite
Understated greys and soft lavenders create a haven of tranquility the ideal suite for relaxing and unwinding. Furnished with a king-sized bed, that can be converted into two comfortable twin beds if necessary. En-suite bathroom with bath and separate shower.

Zebra Room Luxury Suite
Vibrant and exciting in black and white with a King sized bed that can be converted into two comfortable twin beds if necessary. En-suite bathroom with bath and separate shower.

Giraffe Room Luxury Suite
Feel like royalty in this hue of amazing amber with a Queen sized bed and double sleeper couch for those parents wishing to share with their children. En-suite bathroom with a bath and separate shower.

Rhino Room Luxury Suite
Beautiful blues, greys and deep lavenders create a wonderful sense of cool serenity. Furnished with a king-sized bed, that can be converted into two comfortable twin beds if necessary. En-suite bathroom with bath and separate shower.

Buffalo Room Family Suite
This family suite is decorated in chocolate browns and creams. It comprises two bedrooms, main furnished with a king-sized bed and the second room furnished with two single bunk beds. The lounge has a comfortable sleeper couch and the ensuite bathroom has a corner spa-bath and separate shower.

Single and Childrens rates are available on request.
