The Bayshore Spring Festival is a celebration of one of the area's most
popular natural resources - the mighty
Vaal Dam. The festival will play host
to a Mr. & Ms. Bayshore Spring Contest, Anything that Floats Race, All Classic
Bike Show, Live Music, Best Original Band & Best Original DJ Competition,
Stalls, Art Exhibition, a Beer Tent, Local is Lekker Food Lane, Camping
Facilities, Tea Garden and an exciting Kidz Zone. Allowing parents to enjoy
the leisure of the day while their children have their faces painted, enjoy a
dance contest, play exciting games and are entertained by various Disney
Characters.
The Bayshore Spring Festival will also have something for the young and trendy
and the family orientated individuals.
We will transform the setting outside the Bayshore restaurant into an
atmosphere of vibrant colours under the shady trees with award-winning art
enhanced by a background of yachts.
Over 3 days you will be able to experience the beauty and talent of South
Africa's best artists. Visitors can stroll leisurely through the garden and
marvel at works from more than 50 of the nation's most talented artists, who
display their original oils and acrylics, vibrant watercolors, captivating
sculptures, dazzling jewelry, decorative ceramics and vivid photography.
Guests at the show can interact with artists while getting a head start on
holiday shopping by purchasing one-of-a-kind artwork. They can also savor
local cuisine and listen to live music and drums performed in the garden.
From the stage we have selected aspiring artists from around the country to
play live on stage. A line up of bands including Earl Grey and Croquet, The
Almighty's, Cathy Bezuidenhout and many more fantastic artists.
