Dune Rider Sandboarding - Day Tour
Sandboarding is an exciting new extreme sport which is easy to learn. It is similar to snowboarding and surfing but doesn't require layers of clothing or wetsuits. Our experienced guides will be close at hand to provide the very best instruction. The venues we use offer a multitude of different runs to cater for absolute beginners to experienced sandboarders ensuring a fun filled, memorable day for all.
Your guide will collect you and drop you off wherever you are staying in Cape Town and its surrounds. A tasty lunch, refreshments and all equipment and instruction are included.
Sandboarding School
All sandboarding lessons will take place at the Atlantis Dunes. Your Sandboard Instructor will meet you at the dunes at a pre-arranged time. Instruction on correct dune usage together with lessons on basic techniques will ensure rider safety and accelerated skill development.
We provide all equipment (Sandboards, wax, etc) and an experienced Sandboard Instructor who is qualified in first aid.
Kit list: Sun block, hat and water or soft-drinks
The Surf and Sandboard Combo - Day Tour
Enjoy an action packed day surfing the waves of Cape Towns picturesque beaches and carving up its magnificent dunes on a sandboard.
Your experienced guide will be close at hand to provide the very best instruction, ensuring rider safety and accelerated skill development. Your Sunscene guide will collect you and drop you off wherever you are staying in Cape Town or its surrounds. All equipment, including surfboards, sand boards, wetsuits and leashes will be provided. A tasty picnic lunch and refreshments will be served at the beach.
