Summerveld Country Lodge is nestled in the heart of Summerveld, a beautiful
tranquil
equestrian community that lies 7 kilometers from Hillcrest in the Upper Highway
area of
Durban, KwaZulu-Natal.
On the last Saturday of every month, starting at 9am, we offer to the public a
themed horse
training jumping show. All riders and horses, young and old, new or experienced
in jumping,
an opportunity to gain experience in a way that is not competitive. The emphasis
is on having
loads of fun in a safe environment. Family and friends and the public at large
are invited to
support the riders. A paramedic is always on site in case of any emergency.
Delicious food is available from our onsite licensed restaurant and pub, which
is open 7 days
a week offering breakfast, lunch & supper from the a la Carte menu. Our teak
furnished pub
is equipped with a large screen TV with DSTV. An ideal venue for horse shown,
meetings,
functions, parties, reunions, weddings, and scrumptious 3-course carveries every
Sunday.
