Primitive Acres Trails is a company that is situated on the outskirts of East London.
The trails are designed for quads, 4x4’s, off-road bikes and mountain bikes, whose riders are
looking for a different experience. The trails follow the natural course of the farm with riverbed
riding, technical trails and trails that vary from easy to extreme. Dirt road riding is also
available.
The trails have been specifically designed so riders can experience the actual types of surfaces and
obstacles that would be encountered when going on long rides. Riders can be novices or experienced
and each and every one will find a section that is suited to their ability.
The area is safe and secure. There are picnic and braai facilities on the farm with a short hike
down to a waterfall for peace and seclusion.
We encourage riders to bring their families along to share in the outdoor experience.
We do encourage conservation and therefore ask riders to be conscious of the environment and all the
surrounds.
The farm is situated 35 kilometres from East London and totals 40 hectares in size. If there are
riders who do not have a trailer with which to bring their quad or off-road bike out and wish to
come and ride, transport for the bikes can be arranged. Should you not have a quad and wish to come
and enjoy the outdoors, a rental quad can be arranged. Prices available on request.
We also provide 4x4 training. A 4x4 will be provided. Prices on request.
The trails are open every day, however, we would be prefer a telephone call to advise of arrival.
Catering for functions, parties and special events can also be arranged.
Should a party wish to stay over, bring your tent and facilities can be arranged.
Costs are as follows:
R100.00 per day for 4x4s
R80.00 per day per Quad or Off-road bike
R50.00 per day per Mountain Bike
