Need a break from the maddening crowds, take a ride on a horses to the wild
side….
Ngiri Safaris is situated approximately 30 minutes north east of Pretoria.
The Carousel is approximately 15 minutes drive away.
Sue Banhidy who is the owner of Ngiri Safaris is a keen horse and bush
fanatic.
We tailor make packages to suit your needs whether it is a champagne
breakfast ride or a game view ride. We can take up to 8 riders at a time with 2
guides. Our horses are well schooled and all of them have been specially
selected for their calm temperament. We cater for both novice and experienced
riders. You will find our horse to be very well looked after, in fact some
people would say that we have hippo’s here and not horses. Our horses are
schooled and brushed everyday. All our equipment we use is specially fitted to
each horse. We use English tack and you will find the tack to be in very good
condition. The rides can be done virtually at any of the lodges in the area, as
we have a horsebox to transport the horses. We currently ride on a 850 hectare
game farm.
Our Sunset Cruises are done on Rust de Winter Dam with two 7m boats, each one
taking 12 people at a time. We offer fishing, bird viewing and water skiing with
our other two semi rigid rubber ducks. Quad Biking is done on our 100 hectares
property or on a 850 hectare guided game viewing ride. We have semi automatic
and automatic quads.
Other activities that are offered: Hiking, Bird Watching, Game Drives, Clay
Pigeon Shooting, Micro Light Flights, Elephant Rides.
We offer stabling for those who would like to bring their own horses.
