Enjoy the adventure of horse riding and discover the beauty of the Eastern Free State on horseback. We offer a variety of possibilities for both the experienced rider and the beginner.
Instruction
For the beginners we offer special instruction packages. The minimum package is 2 days of 2 hours. At the end of these 4 hours you will be able to make your first ride. Minimum package R 240.
Day Rides
- hourly beginners rides: R 80 p/hr
- children's lead rides : R 25 per ride
- intermediate and experienced riders: 1 hour: R 80
- intermediate and experienced riders: 2 hours: R 120
- all day leisure rights including lunch: R 250
SPECIAL PACKAGES
(only for intermediate and experienced riders with a minimum of 4 riders)
Package 1: Cross Country Ride
This ride will take you through the spectacular Eastern Free State countryside to a beautiful farm where we spend the night. On the 2 days ride we will return the next day to Mont Plaisir. On the 3 days ride we will go the next day on a ride to the Lesotho border area. Spent the night at the farm again. The next day we will return to Mont Plaisir.

Package 2: Dhidibeng Nature Park
This spectacular ride from Mont Plaisir will take you through
Fouriesburg town, along the town dam and through the beautiful and spectacular Dhidibeng Nature Park into the mountains. It will offer awesome views, especially from the top of the Ventersberg. The nights will be spent in the field at the beautiful Ouhout Kamp.
