Our new location is approx 1hr 10 min from Durban. Just off the Tweedie /Howick
North turnoff. 1.4 km along the R103 to Lions River. Almost opposite the Mandela
Monument - you will find us at The Capture Site.
Come and enjoy picnics where the emphasis is on a luxurious, comfortable and
stylish culinary experience.
Our setting
Traditional picnics on blankets and cushions
There's the traditional picnic on rugs with specially developed, low, Japanese
style tables - but all in style. Napery, glasses, crockery, cutlery and ice
buckets for the wine are the order of the day. Our blankets and cushions offer
the perfect way to soak in the mountain air .
If you are worried about goggas you may sit at a table and chairs.
Cosy hammocks in which to snuggle !
Still perfect in chilly weather - warm fleecy blankets
In winter we have wonderful warm sunny days, but should you feel chilly, we have
soft fleecy blankets in which to wrap yourself.
The Gastronomic Experience
Our food blends local and regional South African ingredients and recipes with
international influences.
A basic picnic basket is available and will contain fresh Horizons baguettes and
bread sticks and a number of treats. Its about all the different tastes and to
take your time indulging.

Price of a picnic:
R150.00 per adult for the seven course picnic and R55 for children.
We require a deposit of R75 per adult which comes off your bill. EFT or credit
card - no cheques please.
Open during the week to groups of 10 or more. Open weekends from 12.00pm
