The Dome Adventure Festival in Parys is not alone unique in being the only festival in the world held in a crater, it is also a definite must for every lover of adventure. It is an hour's drive from Johannesburg and will take place on the 7th, 8th and 9th of November 2008. On offer will be the National Fly-Fishing Championship, Dragon Boat Race, golf, and various other sport disciplines. There also will be a Rock Festivals on the 7th and 8th of November with some of South Africa's best known artists in action, a large variety of competitions, stalls and lots of fun outdoor activities for the whole family.
